There are several ways to become certified to teach an Active Relationships program. You may attend a live training (at your installation or a national conference), or order a Certification Out of a Box Kit (COOB Kit).
If you are looking for certification trainings, browse our Upcoming Conferences section for upcoming events. If you have any further questions about finding or scheduling a training, please contact us via email or phone and we will be happy to try to find or create a training opportunity that fits your needs and budget.
Bringing an Active Relationships Master Trainer to your organization is easy! We offer a variety of different professional certification trainings – some of which incorporate a singles/couples or youth retreat. Simply call ARC’s main office, tell us what training you are interested in having at your site and ask for a proposal.
ARC has offered certification and advanced training via National Conferences such as the National Association for Relationship and Marriage Education (NARME) Healthy Families Conference and the Department of Defense Family Resilience Conference. Additional events will be posted under Upcoming Events section.
COOB kits are available for people who, due to time or money constraints, are unable to attend or schedule a live certification training. This allows an installation to certify its members to teach ARC curricula via distance correspondence.
Note: COOB Kits may be used to certify several people at your installation! This is the most cost effective method for becoming certified.
Please contact our office for details on COOB certification process and protocols.
We encourage certified facilitators to stay in touch and up to date on current events and changes to ARC programs. There is no fee for keeping your certification active, but you must teach at least one class a year to remain active. We verify this through book orders since only ARC certified facilitators may place orders with us.
Some communities or installations choose to combine Facilitator Certification trainings with singles/couples youth or family events/retreats. This is very helpful for prospective facilitators because it allows them to observe and assist in a live training thereby putting their newly learned skills into immediate use. To schedule a combined event/retreat, please contact the ARC office.
