Skills for Success

One of the skills most commonly described by male inmates as being helpful to them is learning how to deal with their anger. Managing triggers and anger is a skill that must be learned and developed over time but is crucial for many male inmates, especially when they re-enter their communities.

Re-entry into a community is not always easy, but having helpful life-skills makes the transition much easier. ARC courses, such as Active Adults, may help people develop the skills needed to make positive changes in their lives.
