Fathers & Youth
Staying connected with children during incarceration and reconnecting with them during re-entry can be a difficult challenges to overcome. Making sure children feel loved is necessary in this endeavor. To address these issues, ARC offers Active Adults for adults and Active Relationships for Young Adults for teens. Each focuses on learning how to enhance communication techniques, resolve conflicts in a responsible way, manage emotional triggers, and much more.
Whole families can learn together through our Active Families program. By making the choice to take a course and learn new skills, families can grow together and learn how to overcome obstacles in a healthy and positive way. Active Families is for ages three and up so that young children may begin learning valuable life-skills early on. It also gives Dads a chance to do fun games and activities while playing and learning about their children
