                                ANNOUNCING: Active Relationships’

                                                  Train the Trainer College

                                           An OPPORTUNITY to “get  in on the ground floor”
                                                                   Become a PROFESSIONAL TRAINER of other professionals…

Summary:

The course description: a 16-week course (60 class hours), Mondays 1-5pm, January 3- April 25, 2005. Location of course: 9400 N. Central Expwy. (in central Dallas). *Course led by Active Relationships founder, author, Kelly Simpson. *This course will require an application and requires previous experience providing presentations in agency, faith-based, or private practice settings. *Trainer status may be conferred April 25, 2005 based upon performance during the course. Some participants may be solely awarded leader status (to teach to the public), but may not reach the level required to become an ARC professional trainer. This is at the discretion of ARC/Kelly Simpson and is based upon the individual participant’s attendance, professionalism, dedication to the assimilation of material presented and his/her proficiency (including presentation style) demonstrated during the course.

Course Format: Lecture, Exercises, Peer Presentation Practice (some homework will be required to adequately learn lectures/presentations and practice groups will be recommended at times). Additional requirements may apply.

Possible uses of “ARC Train the Trainer” status: ability to train others to lead ARC courses in your organization, ability to train professionals of state agencies or other organizations to lead courses for their clientele.

Courses included in Train the Trainer College: the entire Mastery Series (four-seminars for adult singles and couples) including Active Communication, Active Money Personalities, Active Romance, and Active Living to make Love Strong. Also included are Active Relationships for Young Adults “ARYA” (a youth program for ages 13 -18), Active Adults (a parent edition that coincides with ARYA and can also be used for adult classes in faith-based or other organizational settings), Active Families  (a 7-hour program to teach whole families-several families at a time in the same classroom setting). Active Military Reunions and Active Military Life Skills.  OF SPECIAL NOTE: Several of these programs also have Christian editions and are soon to have Spanish editions.

Cost for 16-week Train the Trainer College: $1600 ($100/person for each week’s four-hour session). $250 non-refundable deposit required upon acceptance to reserve space.

***If you are a consistent, contributing member of a Texas healthy marriage coalition and upon offering evidence of that membership, cost will be discounted to $800/person for the 16-week course ($50/week) with a $250 non-refundable deposit upon acceptance into the course.

 

Class Size: Although the need for relationship education is pervasive and the agencies utilizing such education are rapidly increasing across both state and federal spectrums, the class size for ARC’s 2005 Train the Trainer College is limited to no more than 30 qualified individuals.
