  • Primary function is to develop healthy relationship and marriage curricula, deliver professional trainings and offer classes for youth, singles, couples and families.
  • ARC Curricula are currently used by: U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force (USAFE, AMC, ACC, ASC and PACAF major commands), U.S. National Guard,U.S. Army Reserves, HIAS National Refugee Organization (13 U.S. sites), Head Start HM Grantees (California, Ohio, Massachusetts), Federal HMI grantees (State of California, Alabama and in Texas (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso and Cameron County) and State of Texas HMI awarded grants (Fort Worth, Houston and Corpus Christi).

Work: Kelly Simpson is nationally recognized for promoting healthy marriages. She founded two Healthy Marriage entities that are successful federal HMI grant recipients- the Alliance for North Texas Healthy and Effective Marriages (ANTHEM) in Dallas and the Hispanic Active Relationships Project (HARP) in Cameron County. A lecturer and faculty member of the 2001 State Bar of Texas Advanced Family Law Seminar, her most recent work includes professional trainings for the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Reserves and the U.S. National Guard. She serves as a healthy marriage technical consultant for HIAS, a national refugee organization. Ms. Simpson has authored numerous articles and has been featured on NBC Nightly News, FOX News, CBS, and NPR; and in media, including Wall Street Journal, Psychology Today, and the Dallas Morning News.

Education: Ms. Simpson is a Texas certified K-12 teacher with a B.S. in Communication after attending University of Texas - Austin and graduating from Texas Women’s University with honors. She taught classes for hearing impaired K-12 in Mesquite ISD and in Dallas ISD for seven years. Graduating from SMU, with an MA in Psychology, she was inducted into the National Honor Society for Psychology. Post-graduate work was in the field of marriage and family systems, earning her a Texas License in Marriage and Family Therapy. Also a certified sports counselor, and having served as mediator for Dallas County Family Court Services, she has maintained a private practice for families and youth for over 10 years. Simpson authored the first Active Relationships curriculum in 2003.
